Missouri consensus All-American tight end Martin Rucker will start his NFL career in Cleveland with a chip on his shoulder.
Rucker expected to go higher in than the No. 12 pick in the fourth round on Sunday, the 111th overall pick in the NFL Draft. He knows questions about his blocking ability are the reason he did not.
“I definitely want to help my team and do everything I can for this great organization,” Rucker said of the Browns. “But the fuel to my fire is to show everybody what they missed out on and that I can block. I’m anxious to get this chip off my shoulder.”
