Police are investigating a shooting from overnight in northeast Kansas City, Kan., that killed a man believed to be in his 30s.
Police responding to a call found the man about 11:40 p.m. in the 2400 block of Haskell Avenue. He had died from an apparent gunshot wound by the time police arrived.
The identity of the victim had not been released this morning, pending a positive identification of the man and the notification of his relatives.
Police were not releasing any further details of the shooting, which is being investigated as a homicide.
