Starting at 8:30 this morning, southbound U.S. 69 will be reduced to one lane at 132nd Street so work crews can remove wood used in the construction of a new overpass that opened Sept. 10.
The work will be over by 4 p.m., but you can expect extensive traffic backups until the highway is reopened to two lanes. A word of warning: police caution against turning around in the median if you find yourself suddenly stuck.
