Victims of Missouri copter crash identified

BLUE EYE, Mo. | The two victims of a helicopter crash in southwest Missouri were flying a new helicopter from California to Illinois.

The Missouri Water Patrol says the two men who died in Friday's accident are Adam Long from Farmington and Wayne Holtmeier of St. Louis. No ages were immediately available.

The Water Patrol says the men had stopped in Oklahoma for fuel and were planning to fly to West Plains for their next stop.

The helicopter went down in a remote, wooded area near the Long Creek arm of Table Rock Lake, close to the Stone County line.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are still investigating the cause of the crash.
