K-State hoops schedule includes game at Sprint Center

Kansas State will return to Kansas City to face Southern Mississippi, the Wildcats announced Wednesday with the released of their men's basketball schedule.

The game at Sprint Center will be on Dec. 11.

The game won't be part of the Wildcats' season ticket package. Most tickets will be $25. K-State students can get tickets for $10.

The Wildcats played Florida A&M last year at Sprint Center before 17,699.

K-State will play 19 home games, and the season begins with a Nov. 9 exhibition game against Washburn.

Highlighting the non-conference portion of the slate is a tournament in Las Vegas, where the Wildcats will meet Kentucky on Nov. 28 and then play Iowa or West Virginia the next day.

Kansas State's home game with Kansas on Feb. 14 will be televised by ABC and four other conference games will be televised on one of the ESPN stations.

Game times and television appearances for all games will be set at a later date.
