About 200 cats representing up to 30 breeds are expected at the Cotillion next weekend as Wichita Cat Fancy presents its winter cat show.
The cat show, which features cat judging, cat products for sale and cats for adoption, runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 5 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 6.
Veterinarian Greg Reichenberger will answer questions about cat health or behavior from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at an "Ask-the-Vet" booth.
Spay-Neuter Kansas will be giving away vouchers for five free spay or neuter surgeries for pets whose owners qualify.

Admission to the cat show is $5, $3 for children ages 6 to 12 and seniors age 55 and older, or $10 for a family pass that's good all weekend. For more information, call 316-722-4201.
Dog trainer to speak to Toy Dog Club
Certified dog trainer Kelly Spencer will be the featured speaker at the February meeting of the Kansas Toy Dog Club.
Spencer, who has been training dogs since 1998, will offer tips on doggie behavior.
The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Hawker Beechcraft FlightSafety building, Central and Webb.
