Bunny TNT club to meet Sunday

Bunny TNT, a club for people who own and love rabbits, will have its next meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Derby Petco on Rock Road.

The meeting will include social time, information about care of elderly rabbits, free nail trimming and bunnies for adoption.

Dog trainer to speak to Toy Dog Club

Certified dog trainer Kelly Spencer will be the featured speaker at the February meeting of the Kansas Toy Dog Club.

Spencer, who has been training dogs since 1998, will offer tips on training and doggie behavior.

The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Hawker Beechcraft FlightSafety building, Central and Webb. Park at the east-side underground parking facility.

KHS offers classes in basic dog manners

The Kansas Humane Society will offer basic manners classes for dogs starting Feb. 19.

The classes provide quality instruction in an intimate environment to give dogs and their owners the skills they need to have a long and happy, well-mannered life together.

Classes last seven weeks and start at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19. The fee is $95. Dogs must be 6 months or older.
