Enter Wichita Paws' beautiful dog photo contest

Do you have a dog — purebred or mixed-breed — that you think is as beautiful as any show dog? Enter Wichita Paws' "beautiful dog" photo contest for a chance to win a $50 gift card to a pet store.

To enter, go to WichitaPaws.com and register, if you haven't already. Click on the "Contest" billboard for instructions on how to post your photo in a blog. Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. Monday.

A panel of judges will narrow the entries to 15 finalists, and registered users can vote for their favorite photo, starting on Thursday. Finalists will be published in The Eagle on April 17, and the winner on April 24.
