Win $50 in Wichita Paws' 'beautiful dog' photo contest

Do you have a dog — purebred or mixed-breed — that you think is as beautiful as any show dog? To celebrate Yappy Days and the Sunflower Cluster Dog Show, Wichita Paws is holding a "beautiful dog" photo contest. The winner will receive a $50 gift card to the pet store of their choice.

To enter, go to WichitaPaws.com and register, if you haven't already. Click on the "Contest" billboard for instructions on how to post your photo in a blog.

Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. April 12.

A panel of judges will narrow the entries to 15 finalists, and registered users can vote for their favorite photo, starting on April 15. Finalists will be published in The Eagle on April 17, and the winner on April 24.
