Mediterranean Festival info

St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church (316-264-1576) at 344 S. Martinson is having its annual Mediterranean Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Among the delicious offerings:

1. Mediterranean food a la carte: Visitors can choose from items such as stuffed cabbage rolls, kibbe, green beans and rice, stuffed grape leaves, Greek chicken and potatoes, Serbian chicken paprikash, hummus, Greek salad and baklava.

2. Baked goods: The festival also will feature the sale of pastries, breads and desserts from places such as Greece, Lebanon, Syria, Serbia and Russia.

3. Etc.: Attendees also can tour the church and buy gifts and books on the Orthodox faith.
