LIGHT AND HEALTHY WEEK: CAJUN TURKEY BURGERS

For all of you resolved to eat better in the new year, we offer a week's worth of lighter recipes that will help you get started right. This one comes from the aptly named Web site www.best-healthy-recipes-ever.com.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb. ground turkey

1 egg, beaten

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper

1/2 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs

DIRECTIONS

In a bowl, combine the turkey, egg, salt, garlic, red pepper, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and bread crumbs. Shape the mixture into 6 patties.

Grill until desired doneness, usually about 4 minutes per side. Serve on burger buns with your choice of toppings.
