Just hours after Megyn Kelly received both great applause and opprobrium for the tough questions she asked Donald Trump – a different journalist was trending on Twitter – Peter Jennings, the longtime anchor and reporter on ABC, who died Aug. 7, 2005.
Jennings was one of the last men standing in a different era of TV news when just three networks dominated and before it split ideologically on cable.
