There’s a restaurant-y building under construction across from the new Abuelo’s at Kellogg and Ridge, and several readers have asked me what it’s going to be.
The building, which sits at 500 S. Ridge Road, is about to become a RibCrib, and its tentative opening date is Halloween, Oct. 31 – though a RibCrib spokesman said that it will likely be more like early November before it’s ready.
The building is about 4,650 square feet, will have 150 seats and a full bar.
“We are excited to get this store open and become a part of the Wichita community,” said Jeff Morrell, the vice president of marketing and administration for the Tulsa-based chain.
