Two downtown restaurants are finished with their relocations and are just about ready to get back to business.
One is Caesar’s Table Restaurant and Air Capital Catering, which I reported in December was moving from the hidden mezzanine level of Market Centre at 155 N. Market to a first-floor space at 125 N. Market.
Sam Kuns, who’d been running his lunch-only restaurant since September 2014, closed the original restaurant space in June and will reopen in his new spot on Friday, July 8. He now has a 6,575 square-foot space that will make the restaurant visible from the street. It will have entrances from Market street and from the 125 N. Market building’s lobby, and it will feature indoor “patio” seating for about 34, a dining room with seating for 88 and a private dining room intended for receptions and events that will seat 32.
Initially, Caesar’s Table will be open just for lunch featuring its buffet plus a menu of sandwiches and salads. A rotating menu of family-style dinners like fried chicken, lasagna, roast beef, barbecue and will be available for take-out in the late afternoon.

Caesar’s Table’s initial hours will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
Kuns also will offer drinks, cinnamon rolls and light breakfast items for building tenants. He’ll open a full-service breakfast for the public in the coming weeks and eventually plans to open a full bar and also add dinner to his offerings.

The other relocating restaurant is A Taste of Times Square, which late last month was forced to leave its spot at 221 S. Broadway because of air conditioner problems at the Petroleum Building. Owners Ramy and Melissa Salem will reopen on Monday at 217 E. Douglas, in the spot that most recently held Pasta Piazza.
The menu will include sandwiches, burgers, pita sandwiches and breakfast items named for New York City-area neighborhoods and landmarks.
A Taste of Times Square will also serve breakfast. Hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
