A spacious new coffee shop that opened Thursday in downtown Wichita is inviting customers to get caffeinated and play board games.
And it has a lot of board games.
Sente Games & Refreshments is now open at the northwest corner of Douglas and Market. Owned by Caitlin Doolittle and her boyfriend, Thomas Koch, the shop features a full menu of coffee drinks and pastries.
But its most unique feature is the back wall, which has a giant shelf overflowing with dozens and dozens of board games, from Pictionary to Settlers of Catan to Life to Trouble.

The shop eventually plans to start retail sales of games as well.
The pastry case is filled with creations by Nice Bites Bakery, which makes all vegan items, and it include choices like cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, muffins and cookies.
