It’s National Frozen Custard Day: Here’s where Wichita can get a deal

People who live in the hometown of Freddy’s Frozen Custard have a civic duty to celebrate National Frozen Custard Day.

Don’t we?

Today, Aug. 8, is the day, and Wichita’s two main frozen custard purveyors are offering specials.

They are:

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: The restaurants are offering $1 off all custard treat purchases. And they’ll donate 50 cents of every custard treat sold to Kids In Need Foundation, a group that provides school supplies to teachers and students across the country.

Andy’s Frozen Custard: This new frozen custard spot at 10788 W. 21st St. is offering a free small cone for every $10 worth of Andy’s gift cards purchased. For every $20 worth of gift cards, customers can get a free small one-topping concrete. The deal is available through Sunday.
