A bunch of Wichita restaurants are closing for vacation

Perhaps you’ll be too busy grilling out to notice.

But if you try to go to several of you favorite Wichita restaurants around the July 4 holiday, you’ll find them closed up tight.

This is the time of year that restaurant owners like to take their vacations, and several are scheduled to be closed in the coming week.

Here’s a list of some of the Wichita restaurants that are temporarily closing down:

Ty’s Diner, 928 W. Second: This popular burger restaurant will be closed starting today (June 27) while its owners go on vacation. It will roepen on Thursday, July 6.

La Galette, 1017 W. Douglas: This Delano favorite closed on Monday and will reopen on July 3.

Molino's, 1064 N. Waco and 7817 E. 37th St. North: Both Molino’s locations will be closed while its owners go on vacation from July 3 through July 9.

Felipe’s, 2241 N. Woodlawn: It’s family vacation time for this Mexican restaurant, which is closed starting today (June 27) and will reopen on July 7.

DeFazio’s, 2706 N. Amidon: This Italian restaurant will be closed for vacation July 3-11.
