That Wichita Riverfest button gets you access to all the fabulous fried foods at the food court.

But did you know that it also gets you free food and discounts at other local food purveyors?

Here are a few non-festival dining deals you can get with your button.

La Chinita, 1415 N. Broadway: People wearing their 2017 Wichita Riverfest buttons can get one free sopapilla.

Planet Sub, 535 W. Douglas, 3526 N. Rock Road and 10330 W. Central: Show your Wichita Riverfest button at any Planet Sub restaurant in Wichita and you can get a free cookie with the purchase of a sandwich. And as luck would have it, a new Planet Sub has recently opened just outside the festival footprint at 535 W. Douglas.

Knolla’s Pizza, 3817 W. 13th St., 77321 E. Central, 7343 W. Central, 4041 N. Maize Road: Wear your button to Knolla’s and you can save $2 on a regular-priced order of $10 or more at Knolla's Pizza. The offer is good only for dine-in and carry-out orders, and it’s good through Saturday.

With your Riverfest button, you can get $2 off admission to these Wichita attractions through Saturday: Sedgwick County Zoo, Botanica, Kansas Aviation Museum, Mid-America All Indian Center, Museum of World Treasures, Old Cowtown and the Wichita Art Museum.

Don’t have your button yet? You can get one at the Festival or check here to see where else they’re available.
