Tickets to Paul McCartney’s July 19 show at Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena are hard to come by – unless you want the $252 VIP seats.

But if you can gather 15 friends together, you still have a chance to get good seats for a bit more – and these come with a private bar, free drinks, parking passes and a private box from which to watch the show.

The annual Celebrity & Chef Cookoff, a fundraiser for the Orpheum Theatre that is happening on June 13, will have a tempting live auction package at the event. It’s a private suite for 16 people that includes $250 in food and beverage credit, three on-site parking passes, access to the Arena’s premium entrance and to the Cox Lounge and Fusion Fifty Four, a private bar for suite ticket holders.

The retail value for the package is $5,265. The Orpheum and Intrust Bank Arena are both SMG-managed facilities.

To get a chance to bid, people must attend the cookoff, which happens from 6-9 p.m. June 13 at the arena. Tickets are $90 a person or $850 for a table of 10. The event pairs local celebrities and chefs in a live cooking competition, and it also includes food from local restaurants and adult beverages.

Tickets to the cookoff are available by calling 316-263-0884 or online at http://wichitaorpheum.com/celebrity-chef-cookoff-tickets/.
