Delano’s Burn Out Bar & Grill has closed – but it might be only temporary.

The restaurant, which Crystal Wynia opened at 1021 W. Maple two years ago, quietly closed last week. But its Facebook page indicates it might reopen with new owners.

The restaurant had been listed for sale on Craigslist for several months.

“We are sad to announce that we are closing,” the post read. “We are in hopes it is temporary, while anticipating a new owner.”

The Burn Out Bar and Grill Facebook post also indicates that the potential new owners are planning to keep many things about the business the same. The business had a hot-rod theme and specialized in burgers, chicken fried steaks, chicken-fried bacon and more. When she reviewed it in 2015, Wichita Eagle Dining Panel member Dana Fleming-Mastio had good things to say.

I have left a message with the restaurant but have not heard back. I’ll update you if I do.
