A&W is open at NewMarket Square

Eric Estes’ new A&W Restaurant has just opened at 29th and Maize Road, just in front of Lowe’s.

The fast-food restaurant, which serves frosty root beer, “Papa Burgers,” coney dogs and more, is attached to Estes’ LongJohn Silvers next door.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
