Eunice Kim doesn’t have to commute too far to keep track of her restaurant empire.
Kim, who along with her husband Jay owns the popular Hana Cafe in Old Town Square, just opened her second restaurant — and it’s right next door at 321 N. Mead.
The appropriately named Hana Next Door serves some of the Korean dishes the Kims are known for — such as bibimbap — quickly. It’s an order-at-the-counter, get-your-food-fast kind of place.
The restaurant also has a bibimbap station, where customers choose which vegetables and meat they want in the traditional rice dish and watch as it’s made.
Hana Next Door’s hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch Mondays through Fridays and 5 to 10 p.m. for dinner Mondays through Saturdays.
