Public at the Brickyard, the newish Old Town gastropub with a cozy atmosphere and a kitchen full of locally produced ingredients, has added a Sunday brunch menu.
The pub at 129 N. Rock Island quietly tried out the new brunch last week, and it went well, so it starts for real on Sunday.
It’s not a buffet. Rather, customers order from the menu items such as eggs made your way, smoked chicken biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, pancakes, French toast and steel cut oats. Bloody Marys and mimosas also are available.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, call 316-263-4044.
