Darlin Maudie releases new CD

Wichita rock duo Darlin' Maudie, featuring brothers Mike and Nick Evancho, will play a CD release party at 9 p.m. Saturday at Rock Island Live, 101 N. Rock Island. Cover is $5.

The band spent three years making the double album, titled "From the Analog Mountains to the Digital Fountains."

High Times Love Gravity will also perform.

Gypsy jazz at WaterWalk

Nouveau Quintette will bring its gypsy jazz to the WaterWalk Jazz Art and Moonlight free concert series tonight. The group will perform at WaterWalk, 515 S. Main, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Doors open at 6:30. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and Yia Yia's Eurobistro will have a cash bar and grill. Fall Blues Crawl

The Wichita Blues Society's Fall Blues Crawl is on Sunday throughout Old Town, and it will feature blues musicians at seven venues. The crawl lasts from 5 to 11 p.m., and $5 covers admission to all venues. Following is the schedule:

Tommy Emmanuel
