It's First Friday

It's time once again for First Friday, the monthly music crawl through the downtown area. This month's lineup features 11 venues, including Siva Power Yoga at 535 W. Douglas, which will host jazz singer/songwriter Emily Deaver at 7 p.m. For a list of bands and venues, visit wichitafirstfriday.org.

Jamey Johnson at the Cotillion

Country singer Jamey Johnson, known for hits such as "In Color" and "High Cost of Living" and for co-writing hit singles for stars such as George Strait and Trace Adkins, will perform at 8 tonight at the Cotillion with special guest Craig Boyd. Florida blues at the 'Choke

Florida-based bluesman and singer/songwriter Drew Tilman will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at The Artichoke, 811 N. Broadway. Admission is $4.

Sean Chambers blues

Blues guitarist Sean Chambers, a young musician whose music is among the most played on KMUW's "Crossroads," will perform a concert at 7 p.m. Thursday at The Boulevard, a venue at 900 George Washington Blvd. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are $15 at the door.
