Mudbug Madness

The Mudbugs Cajun & Zydeco band — the local group that recently appeared on the radio program "A Prairie Home Companion," —will headline Mudbug Madness, a crawfish boil and concert at Prairie Pines tonight and Saturday. The event, which lasts from 6 to 10 p.m. both nights, will include all-you-can-eat crawfish, jambalaya and fixings. The band will perform at 8 p.m. Tickets are $32 and available at the door. Skillet at Hartman

Grammy-nominated Christian rock group Skillet will bring its tour to Hartman Arena on Thursday. The group, known for its recent single "Monster," is touring in support of its album "AWAKE." A little wine and jazz

Jazz musician Fred Ballard will be performing horn and piano as part of a new trio he's formed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Clifton Wine & Jazz, 3700 E. Douglas. Admission is $5. Transcendental folk
