Port of Wichita party

Port of Wichita, the hangout at 1548 S. Webb Road, has been open for way more than two years. But it will celebrate two years of business under current management with an anniversary party on Sunday. The bar will open at noon and will feature live music starting at 3 p.m. In the lineup _ Joe Worrel & The Last Free Exit Band and Lubriphonic, a well-known jam band. Elliot Road CD release

Alternative folk band Elliot Road will perform songs from its new album "The Dust Covered Man" at a CD release party tonight at Mead's Corner, 430 E. Douglas. Open jamming

Comedy God(win)

Comedian Pat Godwin is set to perform five shows this weekend at the Loony Bin Comedy Club, 6140 E. 21st. Godwin, a comedy club and morning radio show regular with improvisational skills, will perform at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. today and Saturday, when tickets are $12, and at 8 p.m. Sunday, when tickets are $8.
