Three other Final Friday highlights (June 24)

1. Photography at the Kansas Masonic Home: Several photographers will have work displayed at the Final Friday exhibit at KMH, 401 S. Seneca, including Neil Marcus, a talented local artist who specializes in capturing images from his travels, whether it be a hiking trip or a journey across Italy. KMH will be open to art lovers from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today and will also offer a variety of international tapas.

2. Glass art: Glass artist JoAn McGregor will welcome visitors to her Blue Swallowtail Studio, 1712 W. Douglas, where they can make glass pendants for $10. She'll be open from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

3. Art Trails: As part of Final Friday, artist Jordan Tarrant will be painting a mural of Shakespeare just east of the railroad overpass on First Street in Old Town from 6 to 8:30 p.m. And over by the Mid-America All-Indian Center, singers and Native American drummers will perform on the trail from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Acoustic Arts in the Park

Saturday's Acoustic Arts in the Park concert will feature John Jenkinson, Robin Roberts and Billie Preston, and the Clifton Street Bluegrass Band. It'll take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Central Riverside Park, and admission is free. Acoustic Arts in the Park is a series of free concerts staged on the second and fourth Saturdays of June, July and August by the Kansas Acoustic Arts Association.
