Grammy-winning artist Lyle Lovett will make a guest appearance at the Symphony in the Flint Hills performance on June 12 with the Kansas City Symphony.

The concert will be on land that Bass owns seven miles south of Cottonwood Falls.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday. Adult tickets are $63, and tickets for children 12 and under are $43.

Tickets may be ordered by phone at 816-471-0400 or online at www.kcsymphony.org. They may also be purchased Monday only beginning at 10 a.m. at Dillard's at Towne East Square.

The Symphony in the Flint Hills is an outdoor concert series that began in 2006 and has sold out every year. The event moves each year to a different site in the Flint Hills, providing an opportunity for the public to visit private ranchland.
