Conan O'Brien to host talk show on TBS

Late-night mainstay Conan O'Brien is headed to TBS to resume his comedic duties with a talk show expected to debut in November, the network said Monday.

The program will air Mondays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. Eastern, shifting TBS's "Lopez Tonight," starring George Lopez , to midnight.

"The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I'll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show," O'Brien posted Monday on Twitter.

The announcement hit the same day O'Brien started a two-month, nationwide comedy tour in Eugene, Ore.

Chamberlain lands role on 'Leverage'

Richard Chamberlain is back in Los Angeles after leaving behind his Hawaiian "dream house" and says the move has proved a good one.

He quickly landed a role in the TNT series "Leverage," playing a dashing thief named Archie Leech.

The "Dr. Kildare" and "Shogun" star, 76, said there's a chance for future appearances on the drama that stars Timothy Hutton.

"Unless I muck it up," Chamberlain added, lightly.

After spending four years building an oceanfront home on Maui, Chamberlain said he realized "nothing's happening here" and headed back to the entertainment industry's L.A. base. A new management firm "suddenly came up with all these possible jobs," he said.

Taylor not looking to marry again

Eight marriages are enough for Elizabeth Taylor .

"The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren't true," the legendary Hollywood actress tweeted in response to online reports she planned to tie the knot for ninth time with Jason Winters, 49, a principal in Sterling Winters Management. "Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart."

Taylor, 78, has been married eight times to seven men: Conrad Hilton Jr., Michael Wilding, Mike Todd, Eddie Fisher, Richard Burton (twice), John Warner and Larry Fortensky. She has been single since her divorce from Fortensky in 1996.

Walsh off-Broadway

Kate Walsh plans to spend her summer vacation in a 99-seat off-Broadway theater. Walsh, star of ABC's "Private Practice," will appear in the world premiere of "Dusk Rings a Bell," a two-character play by Stephen Belber. She will co-star with Paul Sparks.
