Q. Where can I send a letter to the editor?

Q. Whom do I contact about starting or stopping my newspaper subscription?
A: Click the "Manage Account" link in the the upper right corner of any page on Kansas.com. You can also reach our Circulation department at 1-800-200-8906.

 

Q. I need a story from yesterday or another past date. Are they still on the Web site?
A: Type some keywords for the story you're looking for in the Search box (centered beneath the blue and orange navigation bar), and click "Go." If the story is still available, you should see it linked under the "News" heading on your results page.

 

Stories typically remain available for free on our site for two to four weeks. After that, they move to our archives, which you can access for a small fee after you set up an account.

 

Q. How do I find the obituaries online?
A: You can find the Obituaries link in the blue and orange navigation bar on every page, or just click here.

 

Q. Where is the newspaper's editorial section?
A: Look for the Opinion link in the blue and orange navigation bar on every page, or click here.

 

Q. I see blank pages or old pages on the Web site. Why haven't you updated the site?
A: Chances are you are seeing outdated information stored locally on your computer. Try reloading the page. Hold down the shift key while clicking reload (Netscape) or refresh (Internet Explorer) to ensure that you're getting a fresh copy of the page from the server. You can also force both your I.E. and Netscape browsers to refresh by pressing the left Ctrl and F5 keys at the same time. If you continue to see outdated content please contact us using our online form.

Q. How can I customize the picture that appears in the upper-left corner of the site and beside the comments I make on stories?
A: We call that photo an "avatar." First, be sure you're a registered member of Kansas.com. You can register by visiting www.kansas.com/register. Once you're registered, log in by clicking the "Log In" link in the upper left corner of the page. Then, you can click on the default picture that appears next to your welcome message in the upper left corner of most Kansas.com pages. That will take you to your "Persona" page. In the gray box on that page, click the "Profile" tab. You'll see the options for customizing your avatar there.
