I rescued the old gas tank. I used 1? gallons of muriatic acid to clean and de-rust the inside. Then I added soda water to neutralize the acid and rinsed with water. The largest hole was brazed shut and the inside of the tank was coated with Red Kote. I cleaned and undercoated the outside of the tank. Next is a pressure test and reinstallation.
