We got our first look at one of two shoeboxes owned by Don Weston, who lives near Chase. He thought they were both '50s, but this one was clearly a '49, and a Club Coupe, to boot. It already had the floor pans repaired and all the chrome stripped off it. Surprisingly, Kathy thought it looked pretty good, so we made an offer.
