I monkeyed with the transmission levers, but they were frozen solid, so I decided to pull the transmission and see what was up. This was the beginning of a long, frustrating process, as the front slip-yoke would not slide off and I finally realized there was no way to get the tranny out without dropping the cross-member. I added several colorful new phrases to my vocabulary during my several assaults on the driveline.
