Downs bought his super-clean 1966 Ford F-100 pickup in the early 1970s mostly for the walk-in camper it carried. The camper is long gone, but Downs has kept the truck in like-new condition over the years, with only minor cosmetic upgrades. Believe it or not, that is factory paint shining in the autumn sunlight.
