Joyce Stratford hugs Jarrod Black after he survived a tornado along with his parents Ed and Debbie Parks at their home 7 miles south of Macksville. The family barely made it to their basement where Jarrod was pinned by a falling wall. Without power for an hour before the tornado hit, they had no way of knowing it was coming.
