The factoy '49 steering wheel had been replaced by a mid-'50s Ford wheel, which held some possibilities but was way too loose for my likes. I figured we might be able to incorporate some part of it into a niftier aftermarket steering wheel. That red upholserty makes you itch, just to look at it.
