Wet weather is to blame for a delay in the opening of Wichita's first
off-leash dog park. The city's landscape architect says it's been too

Adopt: Rose
Rose, a 6-year-old schnauzer-Boston terrier mix, is a very sweet,
well-behaved dog who is a bit of a wallflower. She promises that with a
little TLC, she'll come out of her shell and be your best friend
forever. She's been at the Kansas Humane Society for a while and would
like to be in a new home by the holidays.
