What's at stake?

K-State can't clinch the North with a victory over Missouri, but it would open a few extra clinching scenarios. The Tigers can build some much-needed momentum heading into their final two games with a win. The winner of this game will also become eligible for a bowl game.

Mizzou will win if...

The Tigers reproduce the fast starts of the past two games when they scored 33 points at Colorado and 27 against Baylor in the first half, and then the offense doesn't replicate the disappearing acts that saw them score three points at Colorado and five against Baylor in the second half of those games.

K-State will win if...

It is within two scores of Missouri at halftime. The Tigers have been a bad second-half team during conference play, and nobody makes halftime adjustments better than Bill Snyder.

Three things about Mizzou

1. The Tigers won three in a row over K-State with Ron Prince as the Wildcats' coach, but have lost 13 straight to Snyder-coached teams.

2. Mizzou has not scored a touchdown in the second half of a game since Blaine Gabbert hit Jared Perry with a 4-yard scoring pass with 10:07 to play at Nevada on Sept. 25.

3. Gabbert's 468 passing yards last Saturday against Baylor ranks No. 2 for a single MU game to Jeff Handy's 480 yards against Oklahoma State in 1992. Both came in losses.

Kellis Robinett's pick: K-State, 24-21

The Wildcats are so close to achieving their goals of bowl eligibility and going undefeated at home that it's hard to picture them losing now. Especially to a team Snyder hasn't lost to in 17 years.
