Trivia for Tickets Contest

Kansas State at No. 22 Oklahoma

What's at stake

Kansas State will control its own destiny in the Big 12 North race no matter what happens, but the Wildcats could gain an enormous amount of respect by pulling the upset. The Wildcats could even turn some heads with a competitive loss.

Cheers if . . .

K-State's special teams unit scores a touchdown or two. The Wildcats can play with anyone when that happens.

Jeers if . . .

The Wildcats commit a significant number of offensive penalties. A single penalty, right now, is enough to stop a K-State scoring drive dead in its tracks.

Three things about Oklahoma

1. The Sooners own the longest active home winning streak in the country at 27.

2. Oklahoma has three losses, but they have come by a combined five points.

3. The Sooners seem to finally be adapting to freshman quarterback Landry Jones. During a win against Kansas last week, he completed 26 passes and threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns.

Key matchup

Grant Gregory vs. Oklahoma's defensive line. The Sooners are going to be coming after K-State's quarterback all day. Does he elude the pass rush and make big plays, as he did in a win against Iowa State? Or does he take big sacks as he did against Texas Tech?

Kellis Robinett's pick: Oklahoma, 35-7

Kansas State has come a long way since its last road trip against a Big 12 South team, a 66-14 loss to Texas Tech, but that progress will only keep the score from getting out of hand in Norman. At home, Oklahoma is simply too strong.
