Will Adler made a three-pointer off an inbounds play with 1.5 seconds remaining Tuesday to give Winfield its only lead of the game in a 52-51 victory over Andale’s boys in Winfield.
Winfield (10-3) trailed by five points entering the fourth quarter. Adler scored 24 points to lead Winfield, while Taylor Woods and Layke Hoffman had 10 each.
Andale (11-2) was led by Lane Macari’s 15 points, while Hunter Knoblauch had 13.

Carroll 62, Northwest 53 – Connor Evans scored 27 points and Patrick Carney had 22 for the visiting Eagles in their City League victory. Jahlyl Rounds’ 19 points led Northwest.

Clearwater 52, Rose Hill 47 – Rose Hill led by nine entering the fourth quarter but faltered in the non-division game. Collin Neises had 17 points to lead Clearwater, while Parker Austin had 12 to lead Rose Hill.
Collegiate 57, El Dorado 45 – Cody McNerney scored 14 points and Austin Waddell had 13 for visiting Collegiate, while Garrett Howland scored 18 for El Dorado.
Andover Central 78, Goddard 48 – Darraja Parnell had 23 points and Cole Taylor had 18 for the host Jaguars. Carlton Wetiba had 16 and Bryant Mocaby 15 for Goddard.
Newton 54, Maize 53, OT – Newton scored in the final nine seconds to get past Maize in overtime.
Maize South 67, Valley Center 50 – The host Hornets were held to four first-quarter points and could never catch up. Kade Kordonowy had 15 points for Maize South, with Peyten Ricks added 14.
Augusta 61, Mulvane 35 – Connor Hurst had 20 points to lead Augsuta, which led 20-8 after the first quarter.

Trinity Academy 72, Belle Plaine 35 – The host Knights had balance with five players scoring 8-10 points and 11 scoring overall.
Conway Springs 62, Bluestem 46 – Josh Dugan scored 24 points to lead the Cardinals to a road win. Bluestem, held to six first-quarter points, was led by Cooper Minnick’s 23 points.
Independent 69, Douglass 39 – Connor Sevier scored 19 points and Shase Williams had 13 for visiting Independent.
