Darraja Parnell scored a career-high 39 points Friday night to lead Andover Central to a 70-58 victory over Maize in a non-division Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League boys game in Andover.
Parnell’s output was the most by a Wichita-area boys player this season.
Central, which got 11 points from Cole Taylor and 10 from Brock Schaffer, led 28-20 at halftime before extending the lead by eight points in the third quarter.
Ky-Sean Johnson had 21 points and Cortlin Standifer 13 for Maize.

Campus 49, Goddard 45 – Colby Leeper had 20 points and Noah Moody had 19 as Campus won a non-division game at home despite scoring only 14 first-half points. Freshman Bryant Mocaby had 24 points to lead Goddard.
Buhler 70, Mulvane 48 – Mulvane’s Jaden Dulaney scored a game-high 20 points, while Shawn Davis led Buhler with 18.
Winfield 52, Clearwater 42 – Will Adler scored 16 points to lead the visiting Vikings. Taylor Woods chipped in 14 points for Winfield, while Kale Mills led Clearwater with 14.
