Mulvane rallied with 24 fourth-quarter points to force overtime Friday night, but Winfield took over in the second extra period for a 70-63 boys basketball victory in Winfield.
Mulvane trailed 39-29 heading into the fourth quarter before coming close to doubling its output in the final eight minutes of regulation.
Mulvane’s Jace Price and Winfield’s Will Adler had a scoring duel, with Price scoring 27 points to Adler’s 26. Taylor Woods added 18 for Winfield.
East 64, North 33 – Xavier Kelly had 13 points, Zach Jackson 11 and Samajae Jones 10 as the Blue Aces stayed unbeaten with the road victory. East outscored North 18-3 in the second quarter to take command.
South 68, Northwest 66 – Northwest rallied with 26 fourth-quarter points but came up two short at home. Daran Lee had 22 points for South and K’Veion Richard had 16 points for Northwest.
Kapaun 58, West 33 – Host Kapaun built a 44-14 halftime lead and kept West winless. Colton Ocker had 15 points and Thomas O’Connor 12 for the Crusaders, while Caleb Moore led West with 12 points.
Andale 55, Augusta 37 – Hunter Knoblauch’s 16 points helped Andale to a non-division road victory. Dustyn McEachern’s 14 points led Augusta.
Buhler 61, Andover 40 – Buhler used a 17-3 run midway through the first half to take control at home. The Crusaders had four players score in double figures – Jace Williams (15), Shawn Davis (14), Noah Webster (10) and Luther Tolbert (10).
Andover Central 49, Arkansas City 34 – Cole Taylor had 16 points and Ryan Maddex had 15 as the Jaguars won a Division II game at Ark City. Ark City, held to four first-quarter points, was led by Skyler Bryant’s 10 points.
Campus 70, Clearwater 51 – The host Colts built a 23-7 lead and cruised behind 18 points from Harold Craig and 14 each from Colby Leeper and Mario Ponds. Collin Neises led Clearwater with 17 points.
Wellington 59, El Dorado 40 – Trevor Nance had 19 points to lead the host Crusaders. Alec Hildreth led El Dorado with 15 points.
Eisenhower 58, Goddard 40 – Matt Pile scored 21 points to lead the host Tigers past rival Goddard. Bryant Mocaby had 18 points and Tate Vang 15 for Goddard.
McPherson 74, Rose Hill 55 – Drew Pyle scored 25 points and McPherson built an early lead for a Division III road win. Payton Stephens added 19 for McPherson, while Brett Bonar led the Rockets with 17 points.
Salina Central 70, Derby 64 – J.D. McHenry scored 20 points and Brayden Neuschafer had 18 as visiting Salina Central beat Division I-leading Derby. James Conley had 17 points and keaton Steadman 12 for Derby, but the Panthers were outscored 43-31 in the second half.

Cheney 65, Bluestem 34 – Ty Patterson’s 19 points helped the host Cardinals win a league game. Austin Wheelock added 11 points.
Garden Plain 53, Medicine Lodge 19 – In a 14-all tie through one quarter, host Medicine Lodge was held to five points the rest of the way. Jordan Joplin led Garden Plain with 16 points.
Trinity Academy 66, Chaparral 52 – Tyler Burns scored 24 points with teammates Matt Jones added 16 and Alex Carro 14 in a road victory. Weston Schroeder led Chaparral with 13 points.
