I think one of the better match ups this week will be Maize at East Thursday at 4:30. East is slotted to be in the battle for the City League’s top spot this year, and Maize returns is stacked with players from last season’s 17-2 squad. Both teams have at least one player from the WSO Thunder United 17-under team that won the Kansas State Championship.
Any thoughts on what will be the keys to the game for both teams?
If you’re looking for another game with quality competition Wichita Trinity will play at Heights at 7 p.m. Trinity is one of the top competitors in 4A and looks to compete with Rose Hill for that State Title. Heights, led by Ari Velasquez is young but a dangerous team that will look to upset a few of the top teams in its league.
Who has a better chance of coming out of this one with a win?
