The basics: Collegiate was successful against Trinity’s zone the entire game, shooting 57 percent from the field (25 of 44) to win the Class 4A-Division II sub-state title at Clearwater. The Spartans committed 13 turnovers in the first half, but took better care of the ball in a decisive third quarter.
