Butler SFL: Channel catfish fair off windy shore with shad sides and cutbait. Largemouth bass fair in shallow warmer water with stick baits.
Cheney: Channel catfish fair with dead shad or cutbait at inflow points, especially after rain. Crappie fair in coves near structures with minnows and small jigs. Walleye fair off the dam, will improve, especially at night over next few weeks. Wipers fair following shad schools. White bass fair from shore with jigs or live bait.
Council Grove: Saugeye fair casting small or medium swim baits on flats near deep water. Crappie fair jigging off the dam in 15-18 feet of water and along channels and ledges near structure.
El Dorado: White crappie fair in creeks and along channel breaks with jigs. Wipers and white bass fair casting jigs or Roadrunners near rocky shorelines.
Kingman SFL: Channel catfish fair with dead shad in shallow water. Crappie fair near brushpiles on east side. Largemouth bass fair near structures on slow moving baits. Sunfish slow with nightcrawlers near brushpiles. Northern Pike good with spoons or spinnerbaits in shallow vegetation.
Marion: Channel catfish with dip baits. Walleye fair off flats with jig and crawler combos. White bass fair with spinners and grubs near deep water off rocky points; watch for shad schools. White crappie fair near brush in deep water, off face of dam and over brush piles. Wipers fair with white bass and off points and drops.
McPherson SFL: Channel catfish fair in shallow water with dead shad. Largemouth fair with slow spinners near structures. Black crappie fair to good near riprap on jigs.
Fall River: Channel catfish fair with shad sides or stinkbait in shallow coves as water warms. Crappie fair near brushpiles on minnows, jigs or spoons. White bass fair with shad colored plastic baits.
Glen Elder: Crappie fair to good off deep water structure. White bass fair to good near causeway casting jigs and spoons. Wipers fair mixed with white bass. Channel catfish fair in shallows as water warms using shad and shad imitators.
Kanopolis: Channel catfish slow but will improve as water warms. Crappie slow to fair in deeper brushpiles with jigs or minnows. White bass fair in upper end, trolling shad imitator crankbaits. Walleye fair wade fishing off Loder's Points on gulp baits and flukes. Wipers slow but improving in windy conditions with worms, minnows or crawdads on bottom.
Milford: Blue catfish good in windy upper end on shad sides in shallow water. Channel catfish fair to good at outlet with cut bait. White bass, walleye and wipers fair to good at outlet when water is being released with jigs and minnow baits. Crappie fair to good near drop offs and coves using tube jigs and minnows.
Toronto: Crappie fair with small jig or minnow in deep channel breaks near dam. Channel catfish fair with worms, shad sides or stinkbait in river or Walnut Creek. White bass fair jigging plastic shad imitations on channel breaks or deep holes in river or Walnut Creek.
Tuttle Creek: Crappie fair near deep structure with jigs or minnows. Channel catfish and some blues slow to fair off wind swept banks with shad.
Wilson: Channel catfish fair in upper end feeding on winterkill shad, so use live or dead shad or any cutbait. Crappie slow to fair in deep brush, moving near dam and flooded vegetation as water warms. Stripers fair in upper end trolling shad imitator crankbaits or live shad.
