Mike Conroy had three doubles and a triple, sparking the Wingnuts’ offense in a 9-6 win over the Pheasants on Saturday night in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Ryan Khoury and Greg Porter added home runs as part of Wichita’s 15-hit attack.

The Wingnuts broke a 3-3 tie with a four-run fifth. Conroy started the rally with a one-out double, and scored on a base-hit by John Rodriguez. After a single by Mark Wagner, Porter reached on an error to load the bases, and David Peralta followed with a three-run double.

Starting pitcher Ryan Hinson (8-4) went seven innings and picked up the win. Josh Dew struck out Reggie Abercrombie to end the game and pick up the save.

The day began with the completion of Friday’s suspended game, which the Pheasants won 7-5. Conroy also had a double in that game.
