Nunez drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the fourth to give Lincoln a 2-1 lead. Juan Richardson doubled to lead off the inning and advanced to second on a Rafael Alvarez groundout before scoring on Nunez' flyball to left.
Medina struck out six, all swinging, and walked just one while throwing 91 pitches.
Tim Brown earned the win, allowing one earned run in seven innings. The Wingnuts did not have a hit after the second. Chris Thompson pitched a perfect ninth to earn the save.
Josh Horn was thrown out trying to steal second base in the top of the first, marking the first time an opposing catcher has thrown him out since August 26, 2008, snapping a streak of 22 straight steals without being gunned down by a catcher.
