For the team’s 20th season, we asked fans to vote for the 20 greatest players. We’ll introduce them weekly throughout the season.

No. 5: Ron Handy

Handy, a centerman, was a third-round NHL Draft pick in 1981 and had a cup of coffee with the Islanders and Blues. The Thunder was his 15th professional stop when he arrived in in 1992-93. He was an integral part of the 1994 and 1995 championship teams, contributing 109 points in 1993-94 and 69 in 1994-95. He was MVP of the first title team and had 53 points in 22 playoff games.
