Before the season, The Eagle asked fans to vote on the 20 greatest Thunder players for 20 seasons. We'll introduce one per week through the regular season.
No. 15: Jim McGeough
He was a quick forward who was known for how well he handled the puck and for his intelligence on the ice. McGeough is also remembered as one of the great clutch players in franchise history. He scored three game-winning goals in the 1988 Western Finals against rival Oklahoma City _ including one in overtime to win Game 7, which is perhaps the biggest goal in team history.
What are your memories of McGeough? Should he have been ranked higher?
